Our department maintains the following laptop computers that may be requested for use in UC Irvine Extension lecture courses:
All PC laptops have the following standard software: Windows Windows 7 or 8.1, Microsoft Office 2010 or 2013 Professional (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), web browsers, and basic utilities software. All laptops are wireless and have USB ports. The Macbook has Office for Mac.
User installation, modification, or removal of software is not allowed. Contact us regarding any special needs.
The following optional equipment must be specifically requested:
To reserve equipment for your class, please contact your course planner 4 to 8 weeks before your class starts, or reserve online by using the My Account feature at the UC Irvine Extension login page. Equipment is assigned on a first come, first served basis so please reserve yours as early as possible.
Data projectors and other non-computer-related equipment (maintained by Event & Facilities Management) may also be ordered for your class. Please contact your course planners.
